Data Deletion Instructions

How to request deletion of data connected to Instagram AI Assistant.

1. Overview

Users and businesses can request deletion of data associated with their Instagram AI Assistant account.

2. What data can be deleted

• Client account information.
• Connected Instagram account data.
• Encrypted access tokens.
• Instagram conversation data stored in the service.
• AI assistant settings.
• Leads and CRM records.
• Webhook and diagnostic records related to the account, where technically possible.

3. How to request deletion

Option A: from the service dashboard

• Log in to your account.
• Open Instagram settings.
• Disconnect the Instagram account.
• Request account-level deletion by contacting support.

Option B: email request

Send an email to owlnightmail@gmail.com and include:

• Account email.
• Company name.
• Instagram username.
• Request type: disconnect Instagram or delete account data.

4. What happens after a deletion request

• We verify that the requester is authorized.
• We delete or anonymize data associated with the account where legally and technically possible.
• We revoke and remove stored Instagram tokens related to the account.
• Some records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Deletion requests are processed within a reasonable timeframe.

5. Remove app access from Instagram or Meta

You can also remove app access directly in Instagram or Meta account settings by opening connected apps, websites, or business integrations and removing access for OwlSolutions / Instagram AI Assistant.
